Oil May 16, 1931, tlie Globe & Rutgers Fire Insurance Company issued to tbe Atlantic & Gulf Shipping Company, an insurance policy upon a certain flat-deck lighter, known as A. & G. S. Lighter, No. 2, the property of the Atlantic & Gulf Shipping Company, against loss on account of the dangers and perils of the sea. On May 30, while the lighter was under charter to the Roberts Paving Company of Georgetown, S. C., and while it was being towed on an inland waterway from Georgetown to McClellanville, S.
