CARNES, Circuit Judge:

Dennis Scott Stewart, Stevie Hugh Stone, and Christopher Liff Daniel appeal their convictions for conspiracy to violate the civil rights of another, interference with the housing rights of another, and use of fire in the commission of a federal felony. Their three contentions are: that the district court improperly upheld the government’s Batson v.
