Appellant, Charles Durdin, was convicted in a jury trial of aggravated robbery and theft of property and sentenced to five years and thirty years respectively, to be served concurrently in the Arkansas Department of Correction. On appeal, he argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss for violation of his speedy-trial rights; that the Interstate Agreement on Detainers is not applicable in this case; and that the trial court erred in denying his motion for directed verdict due to insufficiency of the evidence.
