HALL, Judge.

This is a workmen’s compensation suit in which plaintiff, Cecil E. Smith, seeks benefits for total and permanent disability resulting from an injury sustained by him on the job. The district court rendered judgment in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $498.75, together with interest and court costs accrued prior to the date of a tender of such amount made by defendant. The amount of the judgment was calculated under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 23:1221(4) (h) and LSA-R.S. 23:1223 and represents ten per cent of sixty-five per cent of plaintiff’s wages of $210.00 per week for one…
