LIPEZ, Justice.
[¶ 1] Omari Faust appeals from the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Andros-coggin County, Bradford, J.) pursuant to a jury verdict finding him guilty of trafficking in Schedule W drugs (Class B), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 1103 (1983 & Supp.1996). Faust contends that his due process and confrontation clause rights pursuant to the Maine and United States constitutions were violated by the court’s denial of the motion in limine he filed to exclude evidence after the State refused to reveal the identity of a confidential informant.
