Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Fulton County (Best, J.), rendered February 27, 1987, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of criminal possession of stolen property in the second degree.

In August 1986, defendant was arrested and charged with the alleged burglary of a residence in the Town of Mayfield, Fulton County. The subsequent indictment charging defendant with the crimes of burglary in the second degree and grand larceny in the third degree was later withdrawn by agreement and following execution of a waiver of indictment, an information charging…
