In this case 15 appeals for reappraisement were consolidated for trial. The merchandise involved is invoiced as “Fuji silk,” item number “5500, kanebo.” It was imported in pieces. 36 inches wide and 50 yards in length, the colors being designated as. natural, bleached, and colored, different values being given for each condition. The dates of shipment are from September 29, 1936, to' April 7, 1937. The goods .were invoiced at prices in Japanese yen per yard and charges for pacldng, drayage and shipping, marine insurance, freight, consular fee, and buying commission were added on…
