OPINION

GARDEBRING, Justice.

In this appeal we again consider the case of Leonard Richards. Richards was convicted for the 1987 murder of one of his attorneys, Robert Stratton. 1 The subject of this appeal is Richards recent conviction for the 1982 murder of his half-sister, May Wilson. Richards represented himself throughout this most recent trial and, while he is represented in this appeal by the state public defender, he has filed a supplemental pro se brief.
