Sahrapour failed to properly examine land conveyed by a deed and land pur*716chase agreement. The two documents may convey smaller parcels of land than Sahrapour subjectively intended to purchase; this court should not intervene to correct her missteps absent a sufficient showing' of ambiguity in the documents. The majority’s opinion departs from this court’s opinion in Abdelrhman v. Ackerman, 76 A.3d 883 (D.C.2013), and implicitly adopts the dissent’s method of resolving inconsistencies and ambiguities.
