The plaintiff, Bobby G. Norris, appeals from the judgment of the circuit court of Kane County affirming the order of the Aurora Civil Service Commission discharging the plaintiff from his job as a bus driver for the City of Aurora.

The plaintiff was a bus driver for the City of Aurora for approximately nine years before he was discharged. On June 5,1975, he was involved in an altercation with another bus driver while on duty, and it is alleged that he threatened the other bus driver with a board.
