This matter is before the Court on review of the Commissioner’s decision denying plaintiff Kenneth Kaighn’s application for disability insurance benefits pursuant to Title II of the Social Security Act. Jurisdiction is proper under 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). This dispute became ripe for decision by this Court on July 15, 2013 upon plaintiffs filing of a reply brief. The Court apologizes to the parties and counsel for its delay in addressing the case.
