On December 14, 1979, plaintiff filed this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against the Southwest School District, R — V Board of Education, individual board members as well as the principal and superintendent of the school where Diane Thompson has taught for the past eleven years. Plaintiff alleged in her complaint that she had been employed by the school district since 1969.
