This suit was brought by the appellee, against the appellants, to recover the possession of lot 22 in the .■southwest square of the city of Anderson, in Madison county, Indiana. The appellants William Y. and Sarah Shanklin •demurred jointly and severally to the complaint. Their demurrers were overruled. They, together with the appellant David W. Swank, then answered the complaint by a general denial. The other appellant Benjamin Shelly made default, and the complaint was- taken as confessed against him.
