In 1895, one M. Oohen was the owner of a stock of goods then in the city of Tacoma, Pierce county, Washington, which was subject- to state, county, and municipal taxation. The' property was assessed to Oohen in that year, and a tax levy made thereon amounting to the sum of $188.20. In November, 1895, the property was sold under a judgment of foreclosure, at which sale one Isaac Altman became the purchaser.
