Background:
Presently before the court is a motion for summary judgment by the defendants and a cross motion for summary judgment brought by the plaintiff. The underlying action was commenced by the plaintiff, Won Teh Hwang (hereinafter Hwang), against the defendants, Dunkin’ Donuts and Supermarkets General Corporation (hereinafter SCG), alleging tortious interference with contractual relations, conversion, and a violation of New York State General Business Law.
