This is an appeal of an admiralty action regarding Gary Duncan, a 48-year-old seaman who died from coronary artery disease that led to an arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death on May 31, 1999, aboard American Commercial Barge Line LLC’s vessel, the “Miss Kae D.” Mary Duncan, as personal representative of the estate and widow of the deceased, sued the defendant under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C.
