At the conclusion of a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendants, Francine Zeidman and Dennis Kendrick, were found guilty of the offenses of delivery of a controlled substance (less than 30 grams of cocaine) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 56*2, par. 1401(b)), and conspiracy (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 8 — 2). In addition, defendant Kendrick was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (111. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 56*2, par. 1401(b)). Each defendant was sentenced to four years in the penitentiary and fined $2,000.
