An order to show cause why petitioner should not be adjudged guilty of contempt of court for wilfully failing to comply with a pendente lite order of the superior court made on March 20, 1946, by which he was required to pay certain sums of money for the support of his wife and child, and for attorney’s fees and costs, was duly issued and served upon petitioner.
