By a decree rendered in the cause of Clendenning against Hall on 15th day of September, 1882, the Circuit Court of Fauquier county set apart the sum of $2,000 as a homestead to B. F. Conrad, which was to be paid out of the proceeds of his property ordered to be sold in that case for the benefit of his creditors. The sale was made, but before the homestead fund was paid over to him he departed this life, leaving four infant children.
