This case is before the Court on an objection to venue and a motion to transfer the case to the District of Nebraska filed on behalf of the Federal Land Bank of Omaha, Hartington, Nebraska. An expedited hearing on the matter was held March 27, 1985, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Court took the matter under advisement and requested briefs from the parties. The issues are: (1) whether this Court has the authority under the 1984 Bankruptcy Amendments to retain a case filed in an improper venue in the interest of justice and for the convenience of the parties;…
