INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Jerome Thagard ("Plaintiff") commenced this civil rights action against former City of Buffalo Police Department Detective Mark Lauber ("Defendant"), alleging causes of action for malicious prosecution and the deprivation of his right to a fair trial pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
