Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Goldstein, J.), rendered May 1, 1989, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends that the evidence was legally insufficient to support his conviction for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree because there was no showing that he had dominion and control over the narcotics seized.
