Salmons Dredging Corporation, in the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of South Carolina, filed a libel in admiralty against the Norwegian Motor Ship Herma in rem and against the Carolina Shipping Company, as agent for the owner of the Herma, in personam. The Charleston Stevedoring Company was later brought in as respondent-impleaded by the Royal Norwegian Government, owner of the Herma.
