URBOM, Chief Judge.
Lee A. Beans’ petition for a writ of habeas corpus raises, inter alia, the difficult issue of the extent of a defense counsel’s duty to a client who has been declared competent to stand trial and who appears determined to plead guilty against his attorney’s advice.
