The appellant, Kennedy Gerald Smith, was convicted of murder, in violation of § 13A-6-2, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to 25 years in the state penitentiary.
The appellant raises four issues on appeal.
I
The appellant first contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion in limine. The purpose of the motion was to avoid the introduction of evidence that the debt which precipitated the murder arose from a sale of "crack" cocaine by the appellant to the victim.
