MEMORANDUM OPINION

ARTHUR B. FEDERMAN, Bankruptcy Judge.

This is an adversary proceeding to determine the dischargeability of certain student loans incurred by debtors between 1981 and 1986. This is a core proceeding under 28 U.S.C. § 157(b)(2)(I) over which the Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1334(b), 157(a), and 157(b)(1). For the reasons set forth below, I find that the debts due from Jon C. Wardlow to defendant are dischargeable as first coming due more than seven years prior to the filing of the petition.
