When the facts of this case are clearly understood, the legal questions involved in it are easily solved. W. H. Duncan, Esq., a member of the bar. residing in Barnwell county, S. C., put in Ins county paper an advertisement, “Money to lend in sums from §500 to $500,000, on five years’ time.” He was not a capitalist himself, but was the correspondent of the *744Corbin Banking Company, a firm in Hew York City.
