This is a motion to dismiss appeal. James Franklin Bachman, defendant, appellant herein, was convicted of a violation of section 288 of the Penal Code, to which charge he pleaded guilty. This conviction was for a felonious sex offense involving a child under 14 years of age. Judgment committing the defendant to imprisonment at the state prison for the term prescribed by law was pronounced bn March 25, 1954.
