In an action for a divorce and ancillary relief, the defendant husband appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an amended judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Miller, J.), dated August 13, 1993, as, after a nonjury trial, granted the plaintiff wife a divorce on the ground of cruel and inhuman treatment, equitably distributed the marital assets, directed him to pay one-half of any college expenses incurred by the parties’ children, and directed him to procure a life insurance policy naming the infant children as beneficiaries.
