Plaintiff Kristi Swanson is proceeding on a First Amendment claim against defendant Village of Frederic and several current and former members of the village board. Plaintiff contends that she was terminated from her position as clerk and deputy treasurer of the village in retaliation for her reporting the misconduct of another village employee.
