Prior to June 24, 1947, a petition was circulated among enrolled voters of the American Labor Party in the 23d Senatorial District, designating the petitioner herein as a candidate for the nomination of the American Labor Party for the public office of State Senator from the 23d Senatorial District of the State of New York, to be voted for at the primary election of the American Labor Party to be held on July 29,1947.
