In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Shaw, J.), entered March 24, 1987, as dismissed his second cause of action for legal insufficiency.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.

The plaintiff, a fireman, allegedly injured his back while extinguishing a fire in the defendants’ vacant building on October 8, 1982. The complaint alleged, in the first cause of action, that the plaintiff "was injured while fighting a fire” at the subject…
