In this lawsuit, brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C.A. §§ 881(a)(4) and (6), plaintiff United States of America seeks forfeiture of a 1993 Ford F150 pickup truck and currency in the amount of $ 4,620.00 which it alleges were used to facilitate the sale of controlled substances. The government and claimant Teddy Sherwood Thomas filed cross motions for summary judgment.
