On December 26, 1969 respondent, Granelli, was injured by an uninsured automobile. On August 12, 1970 his attorney served a demand for arbitration on petitioner, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, pursuant to an uninsured motorist indorsement in an insurance policy issued by Liberty. The demand listed 1 ‘ Lawrence V. Granelli By S. Edmund Resciniti, attorney 2749 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn, New York ” as the ‘1 name and address of the party serving the notice ”; it did not contain Granelli’s own address.
