OPINION

O’BRIEN, Justice.

This is an appeal by the Director of the Tennessee Division of Workers’ Compensation, Second Injury Fund, defendant/appellant, from a workers’ compensation judgment in the Circuit Court of Maury County.

On 20 December 1991, after a number of preliminary proceedings, including an order for the resumption of the payment of temporary total disability benefits and certain medical expenses by the defendant, Kite Painting Company, the trial judge made specific findings.
