FISHER, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Coleman County against the appellant for the sum of $125 for the value of three mares delivered to the appellant as a carrier by the appellee, under a contract of shipment from Coleman, Texas, to Winston, H. C.

The contract was entered into October 15, 1891, and the loss occurred a few days later. The contract stipulated that the appellant’s liability as a carrier should cease upon the delivery of the stock to another line of railway at Fort Worth, Texas.
