Respondent, as plaintiff, brought this action to quiet title to certain real estate situated in King county. The state was made a party defendant. The cause proceeded to trial, findings of fact and con- elusions of law were made, and on April 15, 1935, a final decree was entered which, adjudged the plaintiff to be the owner in fee simple of the property involved and
