Our task in the present case is to review the Court of Special Appeals’ determination that the Circuit Court for Baltimore County erred in suppressing the evidence obtained as a result of a search of the petitioner, Gary Agurs’ home.1 *66The trial court and the Court of Special Appeals both determined that there was no substantial basis upon which the issuing judge could have found probable cause to issue the warrant authorizing this search.
