MEMORANDUM OPINION

DECKER, District Judge.

This is a petition for review of an order entered by a referee in bankruptcy in the above-entitled related cases. The petition seeks to have this court overturn the referee’s order of February 3, 1972, which held that the claim of the Palatine National Bank (hereinafter “bank”) was not a perfected lien and therefore represented only a general, rather than a secured, claim against the bankrupts’ estates.
