PIVARNIK, Justice.

Defendant-Appellant Michael Sharkey was found guilty following a jury trial in *557the Lake Superior Court of the crime of Voluntary Manslaughter, a Class B felony, and was sentenced to a term of twenty (20) years.

Issues presented for review in this direct appeal are:

1. denial of Appellant's Motion in Li-mine prior to trial; and

2. permitting the State to present a rebuttal witness.

Sharkey was charged with the murder of Pamela Summers in Lake County, Indiana, on July 6, 1987.
