The present action is brought to this Court, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, by a group of individuals seeking redress for deprivation of rights, privileges and immunities secured by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, as well as for violations of rights guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
