Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Ryan, Jr., J.), entered July 14, 1993 in Franklin County, which denied plaintiffs’ motion for a protective order.

The main actions in this case seek to recover damages for the personal injury and wrongful deaths of Leon Recore and his wife, Kathryn Recore, and also the property damage sustained by plaintiffs James Ferry and Florence Ferry arising from a propane gas explosion and fire which occurred on August 20, 1983 in the Town of Malone, Franklin County.
