Following a jury trial, Mario Hester appeals from his conviction for armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He challenges the sufficiency of the evidence supporting his conviction and contends the trial court erred in admitting his pretrial statements to the investigating officer and in allowing the state to introduce into evidence Hester’s notice of alibi. He also contends that the prosecutor engaged in misconduct during closing argument and finally, that his trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance. We discern no reversible error and…
