Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Mathews, J.), rendered February 12, 2000, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crimes of forgery in the second degree (two counts) and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree (six counts).
In July 1999, a Broome County Grand Jury indicted defendant for two counts of forgery in the second degree and 10 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree.
