Plaintiff, Pel-Aire Builders, Inc., brought action to recover damages for defendants’ alleged breach of a written contract to erect a new front porch on defendants’ home. Defendants, Juan Jimenez and Leticia Jimenez, his wife, filed an answer to plaintiff’s second amended complaint and also a counterclaim for statutory damages, costs and attorneys’ fees against plaintiff for an alleged violation of the Federal truth-in-lending disclosure requirements.
