MOORE, Judge.

On March 31, 2006, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and David K. Franz sued Salim S. Djibrine in the Jefferson District Court alleging that Djib-rine had, as a result of negligence, allowed his automobile to collide with a vehicle being driven by Franz, causing damage to Franz’s vehicle; Franz sought an unspecified amount of damages from Djibrine. On February 6, 2007, the district court entered a default judgment against Djib-rine.
