The judgment condemns the' appellant to confinement in the penitentiary for 25 years for the murder of Rowe Pollard.

The deceased, a young man about 20 years of age, was wounded by a pistol shot while he was on the streets of Ranger, late in the night. He died from this wound a short time afterward in a sanitarium.
