Plaintiff, a corporation, commenced this action to recover the value of lumber purchased by and delivered to defendant, also a corporation, on August 27, 1951. Judgment was entered against defendant for $12,-966.48, together with interest at six per cent per annum, from September 10, 1951. There is no appeal from this portion of the judgment.

Defendant cross-complained, alleging three separate causes of action. Judgment was entered against plaintiff for $6,535 upon the first cause of action, and for $3,750 upon the second. Defendant abandoned its third cause of action during the trial.…
