Trustee’s complaint in this adversary proceeding seeks to avoid a fraudulent transfer pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 548 and to recover funds from Defendant pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 550. Defendant Sandstone Estates, LLC (“Sandstone”) filed a motion for partial summary judgment contending that it is not an initial transferee under § 550(a), and, as a subsequent transferee, is entitled to the defenses in § 550(b).
