CADENA, Justice.

Plaintiff, Charles R. Bell, filed this suit to recover from defendant, O. R. Mitchell Motors, Inc., the statutory penalties of double the time price differential on a retail installment contract for the sale of an automobile to plaintiff by defendant. Following a nonjury trial and based on findings that defendant had violated Article 5069-7.-02 of the Consumer Credit Code (Articles 5069-1.01 et seq., Tex.Rev.Civ.Stat.Ann.) in three respects, the trial court rendered judgment that plaintiff recover the sum of $675.02, representing an amount equal to double the time price…
